Volunteering is a vital component of UK society, with millions contributing their time and skills annually across Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. These inspiring statistics highlight the incredible contributions of volunteers and the potential for even greater engagement across the UK.
This week is Volunteers’ Week and we are saying thank you to Child Dynamix volunteers and volunteers everywhere. Without their commitment and dedication we would not be able to do the work we do.
Ben (aged 17) – a young person who became an amazing volunteer with the youth team at The Hut. After many years as an attendee, he wanted to give back and gain some work experience.
Chloe (aged 13), one of our young volunteers at The Hut. She gives her time to help out in our 9-12s youth club sessions, assisting staff and engaging the children in activities.
Have a look below to see what Ben and Chloe said about their experiences volunteering in the Youth Team at Child Dynamix
"I enjoy experiencing new things, working with children and young people, being a positive role model. I also enjoy building relationships with staff and the young people that attend"
