Youth Area

Here at the Child Dynamix youth team, we think everyone deserves to have a space where they can go to and have fun, learn some new skills and make friends. That’s why we have a huge range of activities for you to choose from! We host all sorts of sessions from sports to arts and crafts and much, much more.

We’ve got something for everyone at our weekly sessions so have a look at what interests you and come along!

Activities and Sessions

Sport and Being Active

Come and get active and play some sports with us. We offer activities such as: football, tennis, dodgeball, rounders and boxing.

Sports activities are run at Shelley Avenue Sports Centre and Eastmount Recreation Centre. During the holidays you can also catch us as St John’s Park, Rosemead Playing Fields and even Soccer Sensations.

Youth Club Sessions

During these sessions you can get involved with lots of different activities, including: – arts and crafts, cooking, table tennis, pool, games consoles and music, or just hang out and make friends. Youth Workers will always be around for a chat or catch up if you need any advice or support.

Youth Club Sessions take place at The Hut Youth Centre, Shelley Avenue Sports Centre and Eastmount Recreation Centre.

For more information about any of our sessions, please contact The Hut 01482 781121 or Facebook: Youth Sport & Play Child Dynamix

Access to help and support

We know that growing up can be a tough time and we are here to support you with any challenges you might be facing. We regularly help young people with those challenges, for example emotional wellbeing and anxiety, relationships, independent living, or finding training and employment.

One to one sessions

These sessions offer some safe personal space to spend time with a youth worker to chat and talk through problems, perhaps decide what to do next and set some goals. By working together, it is possible to find a way through problems as the sessions are very relaxed and focused on what you want to get out of them. Most importantly we are here to listen.
