Youth & Community Worker

1 x Youth & Community Worker

  • 25 hours per week – working 4 weekday evenings and each Saturday 10.30am -1.30pm
  • £13.01 – £15.12 per hour (depending upon experience)
  • Based at The Hut – Preston Road

Child Dynamix is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Youth and Community Worker to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding role where your contribution will make a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and families.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate a range of engaging group activities for young people ages 10-19, in an open access youthwork setting.
  • Support the informal learning, development and interests of young people ages 10-19.
  • To provide support, advice and signpost young people to relevant services
  • Encourage the voice and influence of young people in local and citywide projects
  • To be a team player, flexible, approachable and able to work under pressure.
  • Ensuring that all data is collated appropriately and timely, allowing for effective monitoring to take place.
  • Hold a minimum Level 2 Qualification in Youth Work or in a related discipline.

Assistant Nursery Manager (40 Hours)

Are you a confident and experienced Early Years Professional looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful well-established setting in Hull.  Child Dynamix is looking to recruit an Assistant Nursery Manager at its Preston Road site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate and committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early years education to children aged 0-5.

Essential Requirements:

  • Passionate about working with children
  • Is qualified to a minimum level 4 in early years/childcare.
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience in an early years setting, 1 of these at a supervisory level
  • Has in depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Has strong leadership skills and the ability to build positive relationships with families
