Our CEO Caroline East recently joined Michael Riding from Eltherington Group to accept a £500 cheque.
Michael Riding is Special Projects Director at Eltherington Group, Hedon Road and shared how the company celebrated their 60th year anniversary in 2020 but due to Covid the whole process was delayed and extended. Through a staff survey employees wanted to help a local children’s charity, and charity for older people. Their staff raised £1000 at a recent Beverley races event and this was split between Child Dynamix and Butterflies.
Eltherington have almost 300 staff on their Hedon Road site and more than 80% live in HU7, HU8 and HU9 postcodes.
Caroline received the cheque at a staff meeting and was able to share how the donation would be spent on supporting local children and families with food parcels and other essentials much needed in these challenging times.
