Youth Support
Here at the Child Dynamix Youth Team, we think everyone in Hull deserves to have a space where they can go to and have fun, learn some new skills, and make friends. We have a dedicated Youth Centre where we host a wide variety of sessions – from cookery and arts & crafts, to gaming and DJ-ing, and much more. Alongside these activities, we have 1-to-1 support available on a range of topics. Beyond this we also offer sporting sessions in locations across Hull. Read on to find out more about more about all the youth services we have to offer.
Youth Activities and Sessions
Sport and Being Active
We offer a range of physical activities such as football, tennis, dodgeball, rounders and boxing.
Sports activities are hosted in convenient Hull locations – mainly Soccer Sensations and Eastmount Recreation Centre. During the holidays you can also catch us as St John’s Park and other spaces.
Youth Club Sessions
During these sessions you can get involved with lots of different activities, including arts and crafts, cooking, table tennis, pool, gaming, or just the opportunity to hang out and make friends. Youth Workers will always be around for a chat or catch up if you need any advice or support.
Youth Club Sessions mainly take place at The Hut Youth Centre, or Eastmount Recreation Centre.
16 – 19 Drop-in Sessions
We provide weekly drop-in sessions for young people every Thursday at The Hut. You can spend time here engaging in activities such as:
- CV writing
- Cooking
- Pool & table tennis
- Accessing the internet

Help and Support
We know that growing up can be a tough time and we are here to support you with any challenges you might be facing. Whether you need support with emotional wellbeing, anxiety, relationships, independent living, or finding training and employment, we are here to support you however we can.
One-to-One Sessions
These sessions offer a safe personal space to spend time with a youth worker, to chat and talk through problems, and perhaps decide what to do next and set some goals. By working together, it is possible to find a way through problems. Whilst we can offer advice, most importantly we are here to listen.
