We have successfully secured funding from the Police Crime Commissioners Crime Reduction Fund. The funding will enable us to purchase a Kit Car to take part in Green Powers Project Blyth – an initiative that encourages young people to work together to build a car that can be raced in an event during the summer of City of Culture 2017.

We are delighted to have funding for the Kit Car as local young people are really keen to be involved in City of Culture events and the race is such a motivating opportunity to work as a team and make this happen.

The project is supported by Humberside Police who will work alongside Child Dynamix to engage young people, particularly those engaging in anti-social behavior. Local businesses at C4DI are keen to support the project and have created a Just Giving fundraising campaign and already had a number of donations made.

If you would like more information about C4DI and the work that they are involved in head over to their website.

For more information on the Kit Car project and to support it by making a donation head over to the Just Giving page set up by C4DI to raise funds for the Kit Car project with Child Dynamix.
