Supply Work

Are you looking for work on a more casual basis? We have fantastic opportunities working with children, families and young people.

Supply staff may be called upon to provide cover in the Janet Genter and Savoy Road Community Nurseries or Wold and St.Richards Out of School Clubs.

Volunteering at Child Dynamix


If you have a couple of hours to spend each week, or even only a few times each month we would love to hear from you. Volunteering opportunities range from customer service, project delivery to volunteering with children & young people in the settings. Gain skills, advice and funding links for qualifications and employment.

Child Dynamix welcomes support from volunteers who wish to help us acheive our vision of developing communities where children and young people thrive.

There are opportunities for volunteers in the following areas:

  • Playwork - with the outdoor mobile Play Ranger team
  • Childcare- as a supply worker in the Janet Genter Community Nursery, Savoy Road Community Nursery or in one of our two out of school childcare settings
  • At the Little Stars Children's Centre- work delivering parent and toddler sessions  or arranging events, supporting the childrens centre projects and aspects of family support with the family support team
  • Administration - possibilities include reception and administration work
  • Management and Governance- do you have leadership skills? Can you share this expertise by becoming a volunteer on our Board of Directors?
