The Child Dynamix Charity Ball - November 2009


The first major fundraising event held by Child Dynamix took place at the University of Hull. The evening included a three course meal, live music and a disco, and entertainment from compare Tony Barton, renowned for his crow-pleasing routines since the 1960's.

Various organisations donated prizes for the charity auction including tickets to the London Palladium, Hull City Tickets, Franz Ferdinand Tour merchandise, and a signed Rugby ball from Hull Kingston Rovers.

The evening also celebrated the individual achievements of members of staff with the presentation of awards and certificates.

Child Dynamix opened its doors to local businesses in a bid to find new ways for charities and business to work together.
The evening programme included information about corporate social responsibility, an open forum for Hull's business leaders to discuss local issues. Also, a selection of sample dishes for guests to try donated by Rayella’s 10. A new addition to Hulls restaurant offering. The evening proved a huge success in providing an open and friendly forum to discuss and explore a more integrated way of working between different sectors.
